Coronavirus and paragliding

Coronavirus and paragliding

The current situation in the Czech Republic, in our opinion, does not allow the organization of competitions in paragliding and the organization of free flying courses is not practically possible if all requirements are met. Currently we will start training on powered paragliders, where you can work without problems in smaller groups. According to the government’s decision, this regime is scheduled to be released on 8.6.

Landing Accuracy Competition The accuracy for all that was planned from 2 to 3.5 is canceled without compensation. Since all other competitions will be moved to later dates, we do not see room for organizing the competition so that it does not interfere with other club events.

Beskydy Open 2020 will be moved to a later date, namely to 23 – 27.6.2020. The capacity of the competition is limited to 50 participants.

PGA Czech Open 2020 will take place as planned. We firmly believe that measures at the border will be partially relaxed and that we will also have international participation. According to current information on restrictions for sports events, a limit of 50 persons will be set. Do not miss to enter the competition. The pilot who pays the entry fee is considered to be registered.

Paragliding courses

The first term of the basic and introductory course starts on 14.6. We will contact the applicants interested in previous dates and offer them later dates. Course dates in August will be added.
